Rosé Terrace at the Mondrian Hotel

I am SO happy the nice weather has finally arrived in the city! Which means it’s time for me to start my annual summer quest of checking out as many rooftops as possible. First on my list, The Rosé Terrace at the Mondrian Hotel.

I had been seeing a ton of photos/buzz on Instagram about this place so I knew I had to check it out for myself. When I arrived, I immediately saw one of the flower walls and had views out to some of the outdoor seating. After checking in with the hostess we learned most of the seating required waiting on a list for an available space, but there is also a small section of first come first serve seating (already filled when I got there at 5pm on a Friday.)

While waiting for a table, I got a drink at the bar and checked out/took a million photos of the large “la vie en rose” flower wall. One thing I loved about this rooftop was all the cocktails had a pink or rosé theme to them. I tried the “Rosérita” and fell in love with it. Because for those of you who don’t know, I love margaritas and I love rosé. So combining the two is my literal dream. (I have also never had one before!) I also tried the classic favorite, frosé which was excellent as well. Along with cocktails they have bottles or rosé and beers. I loved that they served Montauk Watermelon beer which comes in pink cans (such a great touch).

When it comes to the decor, I’m a fan. I was such a big fan that I tried to figure out where the pillows were from. But fun fact they cut the tags off hahaha. But I really enjoyed the flowers hanging off the railings and the hints of pink all over. Finally, I love a good flower wall and a neon sign so having them together was the ultimate combo.

After a couple cocktails I sat down and had some snacks. My friends and I chose the guacamole and the hummus. Both were fresh and were a nice little bite to have with our drinks.

Overall, The Rosé Terrace is a really fun spot to check out this summer! Grab yourself a pink drink, take a cute photo and enjoy the views!

Follow along this summer as I hit all the best rooftops in the city!
